HMLA collaborates with national and international organizations that share its values of high professional standards, environmental responsibility, and responsible outdoor leadership.
UIMLA
UIMLA is the international organization representing certified International Mountain Leaders (IMLs) worldwide.
Its mission is to establish common standards for training, certification, and professional practice, as well as to strengthen cooperation among national associations.
HMLA became an aspirant member of UIMLA in 2021 and completed its full membership in November 2025.
ΟΦΟΕΣΕ
The Federation of Nature-Loving Mountaineering and Hiking Clubs of Greece (ΟΦΟΕΣΕ), founded in 1935, comprises approximately 50 independent member associations from across the country.

HMLA joined the Federation in 2019, strengthening collaboration with outdoor and cultural organizations at the national level.
